Slate was rescued from a cat colony, where his friendly and outgoing personality set him apart from the other cats. He eagerly ran up to his rescuers, asking to be saved and brought into a loving home.
Slate is incredibly friendly and sweet, and loves nothing more than spending time with his human companions. He is a goofball through and through, and can turn anything into a toy. He loves to play and chase after toys, and will keep you entertained for hours with his playful antics.
While Slate is an active cat, he is not fond of being confined to just one room. He wants to be where ever you are, and will follow you around the house to be near you. He would be happiest in a home with plenty of space to play and explore.
Despite his love for playtime, Slate also enjoys snuggling up for quiet moments of cuddling and affection. He is a loving cat who will shower you with affection and attention, and will quickly become a beloved member of your family.
