Hi, I am Andromeda and I am not being vain when I tell you, (okay I am being vain, I am a cat), that I am a truly beautiful girl.  My fosters do not know much about my early days, but I gave birth to four kittens under a loading dock at Publix in Deltona.  My fosters trapped me and brought me to their home with my babies, but my little ones got sick and in spite of the best efforts of my foster, they passed in a few days.  I was scared in my new place and was very quiet and depressed.  I had lost my babies and was not sure about the strange place or people.  My foster mum gave me lots of love and cats can got me fixed, ear tipped and vaccinated, but because I was so reclusive she though I would be happier being returned to the place I had come from.  Then I realised that head rubs were really nice and started snuggling against her hand.  She realised I was coming out of my depression and decided there was a chance I could be a housecat.  She has been proved right.  I have learned to love pets and have become very used to my regular meals.  The way to my heart is definitely through food.  I have become a connoisseur of good food. I am making friends with the other family cats and have even sat on laps a couple of times.  I still have a ways to go in being a totally confidant lap cat and will run under a sofa if you come too near me too quickly.   I now sleep on the bed with my fosters some nights and like to be cuddled by my foster mum.  I am friends with several of the house cats and enjoy grooming sessions with some of them.  I have claimed a place in the 'community hang out on top of the entertainment centre and now explore the whole house.  I love chasing toys across the floor.  I move a step forward every day in confidence.  I can promise, if you choose me as your housemate, you will have a sweet and lovely companion. 

This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
