Meet Velvet — Professional Diva, Secret Snugglebug Velvet is a long-haired tabby with movie-star fur and the attitude of someone who knows he’s gorgeous. He believes in maintaining an air of mystery… which is why he may pretend he’s too cool for affection at first. Don’t be fooled. Give him a little time and he’ll slowly wander over like, “I suppose you may pet me. Briefly.” Five minutes later he’s leaning into the scratches like he invented them. Velvet simply prefers to act like the attention was his idea all along. This charming boy comes with: • Luxurious floof • A sprinkle of sass • Strong opinions about chin scratches He’s also a total gentleman where it counts—litter box trained and scratching post trained, because even divas have standards. Velvet would love a home that appreciates a cat with personality. Someone who understands that behind the dramatic tail flicks and “I didn’t want pets anyway” routine… is a very sweet boy who just wants love (on his terms, obviously). Adopt Velvet and gain a fluffy roommate, a tiny critic of your life choices, and eventually… a loyal cuddle buddy who will pretend he didn’t enjoy it. Side effects of adopting Velvet may include: talking to your cat more than other humans and accepting that he now runs the house.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
Please put in an adoption application on our website, cats-can.org if you are interested or if you have any questions please email us at catscaninc@gmail.com
