Blackbird was found hanging out at a nursing home in the Winter Park area. She had made friends with some residents and seemed to be a nice kitten. An experienced feral cat caregiver trapped her and she has been in a foster home since early in October. She was friendly and well behaved from the moment she came into my home. Clean, flea free and healthy, I do not think she was born feral.
She is approximately 5 months old and weighs about 5 lbs.
She was spayed on October 15 and at that time the routine Feline Leukemia test came back positive.
A recent retest determined that the earlier test was a false positive and she is actually completely healthy. She also has received rabies and distemper vaccinations.
Blackbird is extremely affectionate and well behaved. She loves to play with my other foster kitten who is close in age. They romp and chase thru the house, then find comfy spots to nap. Her soft, solid black coat is like velvet and she has stunning gold eyes. Within seconds of petting her, she will be purring loudly. She is curious, interested in toys and likes to sit on your lap. She is not at all demanding or particular about her food.
